How GeneaRoute works
GeneaRoute turns a conversation, a document, or an old family file into organized research with the sources still attached.
Three steps, one clear record
No maze of hints, tabs, and mystery scores. Just a visible path from what your family remembers to what the evidence supports.
Tell the story
Share a name, a relationship, a memory, or an old document. GeneaRoute organizes the details as you talk and asks useful follow-up questions when something is missing.
You can also import an existing GEDCOM.Follow the evidence
Search across connected archives and family-tree sources without losing track of where a fact came from. Conflicting names, dates, and relationships stay visible instead of being quietly turned into facts.
Every useful claim can keep its citation and context. You stay in control
Approve changes before they reach the tree, invite family to help, and export a portable record. When you are ready, use the finished work for reports, printing, or the next branch of research.
Private living people stay in your private workspace. One careful workspace
Talk your way into an organized tree without becoming a records expert.
Move faster while preserving uncertainty, citations, and your research judgment.
Use the same provenance-aware family graph through the API, CLI, or MCP.
Your family record stays yours. Add what you know today, then let GeneaRoute help with the next question.
