About GeneaRoute

GeneaRoute is a private, evidence-first workspace for family history. It helps people build and explore family trees, search public sources, keep citations attached, and use AI without allowing it to silently rewrite the record.

We built it because genealogy software should make complicated research easier without turning uncertainty into fact. Conflicting claims remain visible, living people stay private, and important changes require human review.

GeneaRoute is operated by Flygon LC. Research remains portable through GEDCOM and structured exports, while developers can connect through the API, MCP, CLI, and webhooks.
